Abram the Hebrew founded Canaan.
Christopher Columbus (he was Jewish) discovered America.

The Jews came from Egypt to Canaan.
The settlers came from Europe to America.

The Jews crossed the Red Sea.
The settlers crossed the Atlantic Ocean.

The Jews dispossessed the inhabitants of Canaan.
The settlers dispossessed the Indians.

Israel had 13 tribes.
America had 13 States.

Rehoboam was King of Judah and Jeroboam was King of Israel.
Abraham Lincoln was President of the Union States and Jefferson Davis was President of the Confederate States.

Canaan was divided between Rehoboam and Jeroboam; they were at war with each other (1 Kings 12: 19).
