Ground Zero: America's doom

Isaiah 9: 10: The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.

Before God judges a nation, He firstly sends it a warning. God gave warning to ancient Israel via the prophets; He allowed its enemies to breach its borders in a strike that would shake the nation to awaken them and bring them back to Him.

America has been warned by a Gentile prophet (Malachi 4: 5), and God allowed the enemy to breach America’s borders in 2001.

Israel responded by defiance and not repentance, so too has America responded with defiance. Israel’s defiance was to build bigger and better buildings of stone (not brick); it planted cedars to replace the smaller sycamores. Such pride swept the northern kingdom of Israel away into Assyria; the southern kingdom of Judah was taken captive into Babylon.

A famous sycamore tree was felled during the attacks of 911; it was replaced by trees in the same genus as the cedar.

A large “hewn stone” was quarried out of the Adirondack Mountains in New York, and brought to Ground Zero as a cornerstone for rebuilding stronger and better.

The Temple Mount was the site of Israel’s consecration to God, and was the place of the Jews’ attention when judgment struck. Ground Zero was the site of America’s consecration to God in A.D. 1789 (at Saint Paul’s Chapel), and became the place of the attention of the American people when judgment struck on September 11, 2001.

America has shunned repentance; it will be destroyed by Russia at Armageddon.
