Exodus 12: 12: For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
Each plague in Egypt was a judgment upon the gods of Egypt.
Plague One: Exodus 7: 20 - 21: the River Nile becoming blood judged Hapi, the Nile god.
Plague Two: Exodus 8: 6: the frogs judged Heka, a female deity with a frog’s head.
Plague Three: Exodus 8: 17: the dust-sprung lice upon the earth judged Seb, father of the gods.
Plague Four: Exodus 8: 24: the flies judged Shu, god of the air.
Plague Five: Exodus 9: 3 - 6: the murrain upon cattle judged the Egyptians’ ox worship.
Plague Six: Exodus 9: 10: the boils from ashes scattered into the sky was a challenged to Sutech, to whom the ashes of victims were scattered.
Plague Seven: Exodus 9: 23: the hail, thunder and lightning made Pharaoh acknowledge Jehovah (Exodus 9: 27).
Plague Eight: Exodus 10: 13 - 15: the locusts eating the trees judged Egypt, which was called the “Land of the sycamore”.
Plague Nine: Exodus 10: 22 - 23: the darkness judged Ra, the sun god.
Plague Ten: Exodus 12: 29: the smiting of the firstborn judged all the gods of Egypt, for nothing could save the people from the Death Angel.
